The North Texas Youth Orchestra desires to build on and enhance the successful public and private school programs in Plano, Carrollton, Allen, Frisco, McKinney, Richardson, Southlake, Lewisville, Denton and Dallas. NTYO is a community service oriented, non-profit full orchestra serving young musicians between the age of 14 to 18. Membership in the school orchestra is strongly encouraged and will only serve to strengthen the musical foundation of NTYO members.

Julianne Parazo Booth is the Music Director and Conductor of the North Texas Youth Orchestra. Mrs. Booth graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a degree in Violin Performance and did post graduate work at The University of North Texas with a double major in Violin Performance and Musicology.
Mrs. Booth has performed professionally with the Dallas Summer Musicals Orchestra, the Fort Worth Opera, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the Dallas Opera, the Lewisville Lake Symphony and the Plano Symphony over the last 25 years. She is currently in her 17th year with the Richardson Symphony Orchestra. As a freelance professional she has performed with many artists over the years such as Dionne Warwick, Frank Sinatra, Ray Price, Tony Bennett, The Moody Blues, Josh Groban, James Taylor, Andrea Bocelli and The Tran Siberian Orchestra to name a few.
Maestro Booth formerly conducted the Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra Chamber Orchestra and the Ivy Camerata Youth Orchestra. She works throughout the year with the NTYO Outreach program to bring the arts to senior centers, retirement homes and community events in and around North Texas providing music entertainment and education to those who would not have the opportunity to attend concerts.
She was the head director for successful orchestra programs at Vivian Field Middle School in Carrollton and Highland Park High School. She has completed her eleventh year as head director at Jasper High School in Plano and her orchestra has not only consistently received the Sweepstakes Award at UIL festivals but has also been ranked in the top six high school orchestras in Texas for the last seven years. In 2009, the Jasper High School 9/10 orchestra was ranked second in the State of Texas.
Mrs. Booth also serves as guest clinician/conductor for many region orchestras in Texas and the surrounding states and as an adjudicator for American Music Classic Festivals and Peak Music Festivals. She is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Orchestra Directors Association.
Mrs. Booth is married to professional trumpeter Rodney Booth and they have two daughters.

In addition, individuals have asked how they can support NTYO financially, above and beyond the musician membership fees. Individual contributions are very much appreciated, and information on the various contribution levels is included on the Individual Sponsorship Form.
All donors will be recognized in each concert program. Tax-deductible donations will help defray the cost of operating expenses such as concert hall rentals, program printing, promotional printed material, professional services, clinicians, special music arrangements, guest artists and sheet music.
